Combi-Cycle with piston engine

The scope of this diploma thesis of focused on processing and calculation of the technological scheme for combi-cycle power plant with piston engine using heavy fuel oil. There are analyzed demands of piston engine for HFO and design of technological process preparation. This thesis analyzes the suitable locations, service options and alternative solution - heating plant with piston engines. Benefits of each option are assessed in the economic model, assuming power as a source of base load and providing support services. The results are intended to assess feasibility of the investment project.
Optimization of operating heating and power plant units in the PS

This thesis deals with the structure of the electricity transmission system in Europe and their cooperation. Furthermore, it also analyzes the basic types of power plants and heating plants, then describes the optimization of operation of the electricity transmission system, the system services, support services and providing cross-border provision of electricity. Finally, work is the definition of regulatory tools and the example shows the optimal power distribution of two specific blocks for a given load.
Student with hearing impairments at university

The purpose of this thesis is to describe support services for students with hearing impairment which are being provided by Czech universities. The paper describes laws related to educational rights concerning students with special needs. The thesis is also devoted to particular areas that are necessary for university studies, such as language proficiency or interpreting services. The main part of the thesis is a list of public universities, which holds the information whether each university establishes a service centre for students with special needs and presents specific services provided to students with hearing impairment. Lastly, there is mentioned an organization which unites together some of the public universities that provide support services for students with specific needs. All information has been acquired by analyzing websites of the universities, in some cases also through e-questionnaires. The results of this thesis enable a quick and comprehensive insight into the issue of the provision of services to students with hearing impairment at university.
Specific Needs of Deaf People Studying at Universities in Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on the issue of education of people with hearing disabilities at universities in the Czech Republic. It emphasizes the specific educational needs of people with hearing disabilities who study at the university, and which meet the needs by support services. Work specifically address to the different types of support services and centres to support students with special educational needs at universities that offer these services. The survey, conducted in the form of online questionnaire, found that the use of support services is frequented and at the same time, the quality of these services is rated as very high. The survey also followed the use of modifications graduation exam correlated using a modification of entrance exams for universities. Created an online questionnaire in the Czech sign language provides effective feedback deaf students to the centres to support students with special educational needs. We are living at times, when information became one of the most – if not the most – required “product”. All the companies which want to survive, be productive and effective on the market sooner or later understand the value of information systems. In the near past a well configured and stable IS was an advantage, this is not the case nowadays. The competition is ruthless and managers realized that specialized information systems are needed to stay in the game. Because of these systems covers the complete company’s business they are extremely complex and without appropriate support they would be almost completely useless. The main objective of this thesis is to provide detailed information about the support of ERP systems and services provided after successful implementation.
